How to Commission

The Commissioning Process

You can choose a particular artist or style that we have on our list. We will instruct our specialist artists with your requirements.

Choosing the size

Choose the size of artwork you would like us to produce and the medium in which you prefer. You can check out the various sizes of artworks, prices and mediums on the pricing page. Alternatively, you can tell us your budget and preferred medium. We can advise you as to what is available within your budget.

To produce a quality piece of art, the artists require reference material in the form of good quality photographs. You can supply the reference material of your choice for the artist to work from. The better the material, the better the artwork would be. Sittings or photographic sessions can be arranged at your home or office. However, there would be a cost if long distance is a factor.

Upon receipt of a 50% (non-refundable) deposit, reference material and instruction of what is required, the artist will then produce the artwork.

The time a commission takes may be from two to six weeks, depending upon the size and complexity of the job.

Once the artwork is completed and in the case of oil paints, the painting has dried, we will forward you an email to show you the finished piece. Upon acceptance, we will send an invoice for the balance payment due.

Once the payment has been paid and processed we will despatch or deliver the artwork to you.

Please note that our artists are extremely popular and in great demand, so a waiting list for their time may occur at times. We will advise each client if a waiting list occurs.
