Biography

Bill Prickett was born in Kent, UK in 1965.

His early life was spent working with sea life such as whales and dolphins which took him all over the world. His love of animals has eventually led him to sculpting them as his full time career.

He produces his sculptures in wood and will often produce a bronze cast from the original carving. His speciality is carving Birds such as Raptors (birds of prey) and animals such as Domestic Livestock, Wildlife and occasionally Dogs.

He has exhibited his work at many shows throughout the UK, such as the CLA Game Fair, The British Falconry & Raptor Fair, The Falconry Festival, Scottish Game Fair and SWLA at the Mall Galleries in London. Bill has also sold work at Christie’s auctions in London and at Pensthorpe National Wildlife Carving and Sculpture Exhibitions, where he has twice won ‘The People’s Choice Award’.

Bill has collectors of his work in America, Europe and Britain where he is now a very sought after sculptor.
